Robin Cahow Borg

Having completed five marathons, including Boston, Robin knows the value of preparation and tenacity. As a 20-year veteran of the human resource profession combined with operational experience in sales and as an entrepreneur she knows the value of people in a growing business. And as a married mother and CEO she understands the importance of work life balance from a client and candidate perspective.

Robin serves as lead human capital strategist. She works with clients to design and implement an organizational strategy ensuring that business goals and human capital strategy are aligned.

Prior to founding People Factor, Robin was director of customer sales and services for Boston Scientific SciMed, one of the world’s leading medical device manufacturers and prior to that, manager of HR for Sales, Marketing and R&D. She led the design of many tools adopted throughout the company for performance management, development planning, MBA/college recruiting, HR policies, compensation/stock programs, training and career planning and management.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BA degree in economics and minor in communications, Robin is also certified to deliver the Hay Group’s Emotional Competency Inventory, Leadership Styles, and Organizational Climate tools. She also participates in several professional organizations including the National Association of Women Business Owners. And she still gets in an average of 25 miles running per week!
